SAIBA is a newly formed all-inclusive business association which aims to utilise this newsletter to inform all previously disadvantaged businesses of this very exciting new initiative. We intend to provide marginalised businesses an opportunity to voice their opinions and views at the highest ranks where it matters. We also will act as a conduit to augment the development of all South African Businesses within the Asian pipeline. SAIBA (South African Indo-Afro Business Association) will be working closely with its business partner AUBC. (The African United Business Confederation) which has recommended and sanctioned SAIBA and our application for accredited membership of this prestigious organisation has been approved. I would like to take this opportunity to invite your business to become a partner of SAIBA and to join our growing membership base We will shortly be convening pilot meetings to brief you on the many benefits we can bring to your business, as ‘A Collective Bargaining’ Association, i.e.
Recently we witnessed and were deeply moved at the violent marches that precipitated in the closure of many SMEs in Phoenix and adjoining areas. It must be noted that these Businesses had no platform to vent their objections and had to bear the impact of major financial losses. In the interest of all South African businesses, we must back the Government in its efforts to circumvent such acts of violence and SAIBA will be your sounding board to address such matters. Now is the time to TAKE YOUR SEAT AT THE TABLE of the ‘SOUTH AFRICAN INDO-AFRO BUSINESS ASSOCIATION’ and make your voice heard.
SAIBA is a Registered Non-Profit Organisation and has recently finalised its Constitution which will be ratified by the members. For any concerns and related matters please feel free to contact our secretary Deva Pillay at 0827193030, who will guide you through the easy steps for membership.
